一、學(xué)院介紹

南京大學(xué)國際關(guān)系學(xué)院組建于2021年，以服務(wù)國家重大戰(zhàn)略需求，培養(yǎng)新時(shí)期對外交往的高層次人才為主要任務(wù)，積極開展國際關(guān)系、世界政治、國家安全等方向人才培養(yǎng)和科學(xué)研究工作。南京大學(xué)國際政治研究的淵源深厚，學(xué)院依托于具有百年歷史的南京大學(xué)政治學(xué)一級學(xué)科，入選江蘇省一級重點(diǎn)學(xué)科、江蘇“十三五”重點(diǎn)學(xué)科、江蘇省高校優(yōu)勢學(xué)科，以及教育部“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科群，為中國國際關(guān)系學(xué)會副會長單位。學(xué)院擁有一支高水平的教師隊(duì)伍，設(shè)有國際政治系、外交與國際事務(wù)系2個(gè)系，擁有中國南海研究協(xié)同創(chuàng)新中心、華智全球治理研究院、區(qū)域國別研究院等3個(gè)科研平臺，并主辦《亞太安全與海洋研究》期刊。學(xué)院主持和參與多項(xiàng)國際合作項(xiàng)目和國內(nèi)重點(diǎn)研究計(jì)劃，與國際多個(gè)高水平大學(xué)建立了合作伙伴關(guān)系，具有較大的國內(nèi)外影響力。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)國際關(guān)系學(xué)院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事國際關(guān)系領(lǐng)域各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學(xué)院工作。本次擬招聘準(zhǔn)聘助理教授1名，準(zhǔn)聘副教授2名；特別優(yōu)秀的高層次人才崗位另議。招聘研究方向包括：

（1）國際關(guān)系（國際組織方向）

（2）國際政治（政治傳播方向）

（3）國際政治（區(qū)域國別方向）

5.突出的科研成果顯示度與未來科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯?yīng)有相關(guān)研究方向的成果顯示度，對相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域有原創(chuàng)性觀點(diǎn)，未來研究計(jì)劃思路清晰，具有較好的學(xué)術(shù)潛力。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in School of International Studies,

Nanjing University

I. About the SIS

The School of  International Studies at Nanjing University was established in 2021. The  SIS is dedicated to excellent research in the fields of world politics,  international relations and national security and cultivating  high-level talents engaging in the practices of international relations.  The Faculty of SIS is comprised of PhDs from well-known universities  around the world with diversified expertise ranging from international  politics, global governance, IPE to cutting-edge IR issues.

The SIS has two  departments: the Department of international politics and the Department  of foreign affairs; three research platforms: the Collaborative  Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies, Huazhi Institute for  Global Governance and Institute for Area Studies; and hosts the Journal  of Asia-Pacific Security and Marine Affairs. The SIS has presided over  and participated in a number of international cooperation projects and  state-level research plans, and established partnerships and  collaborations with highly prestigious universities around the world.

II. Positions

The School of  International Studies at Nanjing University invites applications of  global young talents for tenure-track positions. In principle, posts of  one Assistant Professor and two Associate Professors are to be filled.  The positions for exceptionally outstanding high-level talents will be  discussed case-by-case.

Recruitment positions are opened for application in the following three fields:

(1) International Relations (International Organizations)

(2) International Politics (Political Communication)

(3) International Politics (Area Studies)

III. Qualifications

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;

(2) Abide by the ethics  of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently,  and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of  teachers and/or academic integrity;

(3) Have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in  relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at  first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the  latest international trends and development in the relevant research  fields;

(4) Have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be  able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding  discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal  skills;

(5) Demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should  have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about  relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans,  and good potential for further academic development.

IV. Application Materials Required

(3) An introduction of your research results and their innovative significance;

(4) A plan for research and its prospects;

(5) Three reference letters;

(6) An account of experience in teaching.

V. Compensation Package and Support

A successful applicant will be provided with:

(1) An annual salary (to be worked out individually);

(2) A start-up fund for research;

(3) Qualification to supervise graduate students;

(4) The university  provides short-term lodging and housing subsidies. Applicants recruited  can purchase commercial housing offered by the university at a special  discount;

(5) The university provides assistance with children’s schooling at primary and secondary school levels.
