招聘職位：

銷售工程師 Sales Engineer（上海）

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the sales of Timken and Timken affiliate products to assigned customers.

2. Develop and execute customer service plan to achieve sales profitability, penetration, and growth.

3. Develop strong communications and planning  linkages with the appropriate global sales force, other industry  segments, and production plants to ensure accomplishment of business  plans and customer sales objectives.

4. Provide direction for Timken activities related to  market share increase, sales and product promotions, collateral  materials, trade shows, marketing communications, services development  for customers and markets assigned.

5. Accomplish special projects and activities as assigned.

6. Identify and document the market opportunities for  domestic and imported bearings and related products, with specific  information on applications competition and price competitiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above with a mechanical or related major.

工程師 Engineer（無錫）

Responsibilities:

1. Communication and technology transfer:

a. Share broad knowledge of interdisciplinary aspects  of bearing application technology in process industries, including and  not limited to heavy industries and power transmission, with colleagues,  renders assistance as necessary to technicians and other engineering  staff, update supervision and generally assists in providing answers to  inquiries from sources inside and outside the company.

b. Effectively communicate with and support to global  company resources in arriving at the best corporate solution to a  particular problem or opportunity.

c. Apply unique knowledge and expertise, a personal commitment to “champion” R&D activities.

d. Adapt with emerging technology to enhance application engineering capabilities and services.

2. Perform independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard procedures.

3. Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.

4. Create appropriate test plans and associated  documents, coordinate testing, prototype parts preparation as needed for  testing review results, and create final report for application  testing.

5. Perform specific market and application study projects, consisting of understanding, tracking, and communication:

a. Business statistics, such as market size and trend, penetration, competition, growth, key customers, and suppliers, etc.

b. Industry factors, such as main and trends machines, accessories, application environments and products portfolio mapping.

c. Opportunities that fit with corporate goals.

d. Factors for success in the market such as product  features, product performance, price, services, lead-time, developing  tactics, etc.

Requirements:

1. Product design or application for General Industry.

3. Mechanical calculation/drawing reading.

工藝工程師 Process Engineer（湘潭）

Responsibilities:

1. With limited supervision, conduct activities in  the application of standard techniques and procedures. Work with other  operating areas to address machining, tooling and maintenance issues  that may arise in the manufacturing process.

2. Simultaneously manage multiple tasks and show maximum progress on high priority tasks without ignoring others.

3. Work closely with manufacturing management in the  assigned department and make recommendations for and manage the  implementation of capital equipment and process improvements. Seek new  improvement opportunities and propose to management.

4. Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and associate.

5. The incumbent must have the ability to set individual goals that are in alignment with plant objectives and monitor progress.

6. Maintain contact with Timken Research, other plants and external resources to share and leverage information.

7. Recommend changes in design and methods and provide financial justification for these changes.

8. Utilize new or current technologies (leverage capital) to expand and/or improve current mfg. methods or processes.

9. Document current procedures, methods and tooling and capture improvements as they are developed.

10. Document test procedures and results, numerical  and graphical data and make recommendations for further changes in  process or procedure.

11. Develop (through formal training or experience)  technical capabilities that create flexibility within the engineering  team, e.g. heat treat engineers to develop knowledge of turning process.

Requirements:

1. Major in Engineering, Mechanical design, and automation, etc.

2. Be able to demonstrate decision making and problem-solving experience. Lean thinking & project management is preferred.

3. Good at English writing & reading.

4. Good communication & service consciousness,  good sense of responsibility & initiative, able to work under  pressure and team oriented.
